OUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Ensuring Inclusivity and
Gender Balance in Participation
The target audience of the Green Horizons project includes educators, particularly teachers in secondary schools and VET (Vocational Education and Training) instructors across Luxembourg and Bulgaria, who are looking to integrate sustainability and green competencies into their curricula. The project also aims to engage students, educational institutions, and organizations focused on environmental education, providing them with tools and strategies to foster climate awareness and action through innovative teaching practices. An inclusive method was carefully selected to ensure broad participation in the Green Horizons project. Focus-group interviews and collaborative workshops are designed to engage educators and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all voices are heard. Special attention is given to achieving an appropriate gender balance, ensuring equal representation and opportunities for both male and female participants. This approach not only fosters a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges and needs in integrating green competencies but also promotes a balanced and inclusive perspective in shaping sustainable education practices.
