the Green Horizons project are threefold:
Developing Tailored SBL Approaches
The project focuses on creating systematic, tailored SBL methodologies for Vocational Education and Training (VET) learners and secondary school students.
Enhancing Educator Skills
By improving the evaluation capabilities of educators regarding sustainability, the project ensures that educational content is aligned with industry standards and incorporates sustainable practices.
Fostering Student Involvement
Engaging secondary school students in community projects not only enriches their educational experience but also nurtures social responsibility. Through hands-on initiatives, students contribute meaningfully to their communities.
OUR PROJECT ACTIVITIES
Empowering Education for Sustainability:
Innovative Tools, Strategies, and Collaboration
Activity 1: Development of Assessment Tool for Service-Based Learning initiatives
An assessment tool will be designed to measure the impact of the training on participants' knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards climate change.
Activity 2: Development of comprehensive Handbook for Teachers
It focuses on developing a comprehensive Handbook for Teachers, designed specifically for educators in the creative industry.
Activity 3: Launch of Service-Based Learning Initiative and Validation
It aims at practically applying and validating the outputs of the Assessment Tool and Handbook produced in the earlier project activities.
